This is my personal plea. I am from a family that has been sponsoring children through World Vision for 30+ years. It was just second nature to me that there were children in far away places that needed our help. Now in my 40's, I've been sponsoring my own children for over 5 years. In September, 2005 I was blessed with the ability to visit my sponsored children in Uganda. I saw first hand what an enormous job World Vision has to assist hurting children and their families. I also visited the "Children of War Camp" in Gulu and though it is hard to imagine the devistation that takes place in these far off countries, it is real, but thanks to World Vision there is hope for many.
