Dear Friends,
Around the world, millions of children are still suffering. That's why I've joined World Vision's Connect Your World campaign - to connect caring people in my world with children in need.
Almost 6 years ago, my wife Joanna and I began the sponsorship of Shwe (15) and Ignace (15), and 2 years ago added Erika (9) to our World Vision family. For only $35 per month (per child) we can be significant in the lives of these children by helping to provide clean water, nutritious food, health care, educational opportunities, spiritual nurture, and support for their communities. We have the awesome opportunity to write to our children and to receive updates and hand-drawn pictures from them at several points throughout the year.
I'm asking you to join me in doing something that's both easy and life-changing - sponsor one special child.
Every day, nearly 26,000 children die, most from things that child sponsorship can prevent. Imagine - you could be the difference between a life of hope and a life of despair.
I've partnered with World Vision because I know they're effective and trustworthy. In the past few years, 87% of their total revenue has gone to programs benefiting children, families, and communities in need.
