Welcome to my site, and thank you for caring enough to be here! Did you know that every day over 30,000 children die from hunger and hunger-related disease? And every day, 6,000 children are left orphaned from HIV/AIDS? Who will take care of these children? Well, here's where you and I come in.
I'm asking you to join me in doing something that's both easy and life-changing - sponsor one special child.
I've partnered with World Vision because I know they're effective and trustworthy. Last year, 87% of their total revenue went to programs benefiting children, families, and communities in need. I've been a child sponsor for 4 years. I sponsor two children: Mathias, age 10 who lives in Chad; and Nessie, age 14, who is a hope child whose live is affected by HIV/AIDS, in Malawi. Through my years of sponsoring my children, I've seen the amazing changes in their lives that were brought about by my sponsorship. Differences like providing an education, clean water, business tools for their parents, medical care. And I've been able to experience their tangible appreciation in the letters and photos that I receive from them.
