Stories of Hope
Here are some touching stories that show how sponsorship can really change children's lives:

Ratan -- studying for a hopeful future
Ratan never dreamed of continuing her education past the fifth grade. Her elementary school in Radhawala Pura, India, was crumbling. Traveling to the nearest secondary school was dangerous, especially during monsoon season.
But without more schooling, Ratan would be forced into marriage at a very young age, perpetuating the cycle of poverty.
Everything changed when a caring individual chose to sponsor Ratan. She now attends secondary school at a brand-new school World Vision built in her village. "Our children now have a glowing future," Ratan's mother says.
Join me in helping more children like Ratan achieve their God-given potential by sponsoring a child today!

Sona -- healthy and thriving
Sona lives with her mother and two sisters in a one-room apartment in poverty--stricken Armenia. Before she was sponsored, Sona was so malnourished that her hair was falling out in patches.
Now, she's a healthy little girl--thanks to three hot meals a day at the local school, which was refurbished by World Vision. And Sona treasures her sponsor's letters, always keeping the newest under her pillow.
So many like Sona still need help--won't you join me and sponsor one special child today?

Faith -- eager to help others
Faith lived with seven brothers and sisters in her Kenyan village. Her family never had enough money to send her to school, or even to buy mosquito nets to protect against malaria--a terrifying disease that kills one African child every 30 seconds.

|
But when Faith was 8, a World Vision sponsor entered her life--and opened up a whole new world for her. Now 17, she's a serious high school student who dreams of becoming a doctor so she can help others. "I want to thank my sponsor for my education, and for the mosquito nets that kept my family healthy," says Faith.
I love Faith's story because it has a happy ending. And the best part is that you and I can help create more happy endings like this simply by sponsoring a child!
