Dear Key Club Members and Sponsors,

Thank you very much for taking the time to look at these pages. Just showing that you care is an important step to making a difference in the world.

In connection with World Vision, the AVHS Key Club team is attempting to support 100 children around the world. This goal may seem out-of- reach, or even impossible, but I assure you that through a group effort, the AVHS Key Club team can, and will, surpass this goal! So I'm asking you to join me, Mrs. Moore, and the members of Key Club and Kwanis in sponsoring a child. This action is both simple and life-changing.

Every day, nearly 30,000 children die, mostly from things that child sponsorship can prevent. Imagine! - you could be the difference between a life of hope and a life of despair. But around the world, millions of children are still suffering. That's why Key Club has joined the Connect Your World campaign - to connect caring people in our world with children in need.

I know that I cherish my sponsored children and the relationship we have. Through letters and pictures, I see how my sponsorship gifts are helping to improve their lives in very real ways - and helping their families and entire communities move from hopeless poverty to a future full of promise. Wouldn't you like to be a part of something so amazing?

Key Club has partnered with World Vision because Mrs. Moore and I know they're effective and trustworthy. Last year, 87% of their total revenue went to programs benefiting children, families, and communities in need.

So I ask of you to look at this site and at World Vision. You don't need to sponsor a child. But just look at the pictures and ask yourself, how can I deny them hope?
